Scott is a former vice president of a provider of diverse consumer products and services over the Internet including social networking and internet access. Before that, he worked in organizations with businesses ranging from advanced technology products and services to business services, retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, and entertainment. He has experience with consumer, business, reseller, government, and international customer markets, as well as international experience spanning 20 countries.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus in Human Factors. Scott has six certifications: Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB), and IT Service Management Foundation (ITIL). He is a member of the Scrum Alliance, the Project Management Institute (PMI), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the IEEE Computer Society, the IEEE Consumer Electronics Society, the IEEE Broadcast Technology Society, the IEEE Consultants Network, and the IEEE Internet of Things Community.
Scott has been active in the development of professional global standards through engagements with the Project Management Institute. He was a member of PMI standards team which produced the Practice Standard for Work Breakdown Structures—Second Edition.
